Drone Journalism

During the spring of 2017, I became the first television reporter in mid-Missouri to earn an FAA Part 107 Commercial UAS operator license. Working as part of a two-person team, I pioneered KRCG 13’s use of a drone as part of our newsgathering mission. I alternate between piloting the aircraft and operating the camera during our flights. This page showcases some of our work.
